This privacy notice has been prepared by CSG ELEKTROMARKET ELEKTRİK ELEKTRONİK VE GIDA TÜKETİM ÜRÜNLERİ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (the "Company") in its capacity as data controller, pursuant to article 10 of Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 (the "KVKK"), regarding the processing of the personal data of people who visit the https://www.csgelektromarket.com website (the "Site"), place an order through the Site or contact us.

2. Personal data processed

  • Identity: name, surname; Turkish ID number if an individual invoice is requested.
  • Contact: e-mail address, mobile phone number, delivery and invoice address, and the name, surname and telephone of the recipient stated at the delivery address.
  • Customer transaction: order number, order contents, amounts, selected delivery method, order note, order, payment, shipping and return status, and the subject and messages sent through the contact form.
  • Financial: the payment result and transaction number transmitted by the payment institution; company name, tax office and tax number if a corporate invoice is requested. The card number, expiry date, security code and cardholder name are not entered on the Site and are not stored by the Company.
  • Legal transaction: the name and version of the legal texts approved through the Site and the time of approval.
  • Transaction security: the irreversibly hashed form of the IP address, session and cart cookies, security and error logs.
  • Marketing: only where consent is given, the consent to be informed about campaigns and news and the date of that consent.
  • Analytics: only where consent is given for analytics cookies, statistical data about the use of the Site.

3. Purposes of processing

  • Receiving orders, verifying payment, preparing the order, handing it over to the carrier and delivering it,
  • Concluding and performing the distance sales agreement and handling withdrawal and return requests,
  • Issuing invoices and fulfilling financial, tax and commercial obligations,
  • Sending information e-mails about order, shipping and return processes,
  • Answering questions, requests and complaints sent through the contact form, e-mail, telephone or WhatsApp,
  • Ensuring the security of the Site and of payment transactions and preventing misuse and fraudulent transactions,
  • Responding to information requests from authorised public institutions and organisations and protecting rights in legal disputes,
  • Announcing campaigns and news where consent is given,
  • Measuring the use of the Site statistically and improving the Site where consent is given.

4. Legal grounds

Your personal data is processed on the basis of the following legal grounds set out in article 5, paragraph 2 of the KVKK:

  • Being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (c): order, payment, delivery, withdrawal and return processes.
  • Enabling the data controller to fulfil its legal obligations (ç): obligations arising from invoice, tax, commercial record and consumer legislation, and requests from authorised institutions.
  • Establishing, exercising or protecting a right (e): dispute and complaint processes and the retention of approval records.
  • Legitimate interests of the data controller (f): ensuring the security of the Site and of payments and responding to contact requests.

Campaign and news announcements and analytics cookies are used only where your explicit consent exists. You may withdraw your explicit consent at any time; this does not affect processing carried out up to the date of withdrawal.

5. Method of collection

Your personal data is collected electronically through the payment and contact forms on the Site, the cookies used on the Site, the payment result transmitted by the payment institution, e-mail, telephone and WhatsApp conversations that you initiate.

6. Transfer of personal data

Your personal data may be transferred to the following groups of recipients, limited to the purposes above and to the extent necessary for those purposes:

  • Payment institution: to the licensed payment institution, in order to take and verify the payment.
  • Shipping and logistics companies: to the contracted carrier, in order to deliver the order.
  • Financial advisor, e-invoice/e-archive service provider and accounting service providers: for invoicing and financial obligations.
  • Legal advisors: for the protection of rights and for disputes.
  • Authorised public institutions and organisations: upon request, in cases required by legislation.
  • Technical service providers: companies providing hosting, database and backup, e-mail delivery and (where consent is given) analytics measurement services.

Some of the servers of our hosting, database, backup, e-mail and analytics service providers are located in the European Union and the United States of America. Your personal data may be transferred abroad in order to provide these services.

7. Retention period

Your personal data is retained for the period required by the purposes of processing and for the retention periods set out in the relevant legislation; at the end of these periods it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

8. Your rights under article 11 of the KVKK

By applying to the Company, you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
  • Request information if your personal data has been processed,
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose,
  • Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your personal data is transferred,
  • Request correction if your personal data has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
  • Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the conditions set out in article 7 of the KVKK,
  • Request that correction, deletion and destruction operations be notified to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
  • Object to a result against you arising from the analysis of the processed data solely through automated systems,
  • Request compensation if you suffer damage because your personal data has been processed unlawfully.

9. How to apply

In accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you may submit your requests:

  • In writing to Kulaksız Mah. Arda Cad. Özel No: 37 İç Kapı No: 7, 34440 Beyoğlu/İstanbul, together with documents establishing your identity,
  • To the registered electronic mail (KEP) address csgelektromarket@hs01.kep.tr,
  • With a secure electronic signature or mobile signature, or from the e-mail address you have previously notified to the Company and that is registered in our system, to info@csgelektromarket.com.

Your application is concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. If the process requires an additional cost, the fee in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
